Synopsis of Nowhere Boy

This film tells the story of John Lennon's youth. Lennon (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) was adopted by his aunt Mimi (Kristin Scott Thomas) as a child. He did not meet his biological mother Julia until he was 15 years old. His mother started fighting for him. Lennon's mother took Lennon on the road to music and bought him a guitar. Later, Lennon met Paul McCartney (played by Thomas Sangster), who was about the same age as him, and Paul corrected Lennon's guitar skills. Lennon's life was full of struggles and contradictions. Until one day, Lennon's mother died in a car accident. Lennon made up his mind to leave Mimi and the Liverpool where he grew up to explore a wider world...
