Synopsis of Arthur

Arthur (Russell Brand), the heir to the wealthy Buck family, is a well-known Peter Pan-like figure in New York City. His ridiculous behaviors such as dressing up as Batman and going on rampages have frequently been reported, making him take charge of the family. Corporate mothers are feeling the pressure. Arthur's behavior like an ignorant child repeatedly requires the old housekeeper Hobson (Helen Mirren) to clean up the mess. His mother cannot bear Arthur's behavior of smearing the company's reputation, so she threatens Arthur and his powerful family to cut off his financial resources. The female assistant Susan gets married. Susan is quite ambitious in her career and is determined to use this marriage to improve her status as a builder. Seeing that Arthur had bowed to his mother for the sake of money, he ran into an unlicensed tour guide Naomi (Greta Gerwig) on the street. The latter's charm made Arthur fall in love. At a fork in the road, Arthur hopes to find the perfect ending, and this may be the strongest challenge he has ever faced.
