Synopsis of Illustrious Corpses

This is an important "political film" in Italy in the mid-1970s. It tells the story of two judges in a city in southern Italy who were killed one after another. The detective in charge of the investigation, Rogas, focused his attention on a pharmacist named Kress. body, believing that he was retaliating for his previous jail sentence by the court. But Rogas's idea was rejected by the police brass, and the headquarters canceled his assignment and transferred him to another department. Later, Rogas learned that the shady man was the police chief, but he was shot and killed by an unknown gangster while pursuing the matter.
