Synopsis of Orpheus' Lyre

On the first day of elementary school, the happy little girl Kanako Kirihara died in a car accident. Her parents Nobuki (Goro Inagaki) and Yoshiko (Ryoko Hirosue) who were not far away witnessed this tragic and comedic event. From that day on, the Kirihara family was enveloped in an atmosphere of sadness and despair. Rongzi could not forgive her negligence at that moment and once chose to commit suicide. After being rescued by luck, Yongzi's mood unexpectedly became cheerful and joyful. In her eyes, Kanako seemed to have returned to her side. She cooked delicious food for her daughter, chatted and went out to play together, and didn't mind her husband's surprised and puzzled eyes. One night after July 7, Yoshiko, who was out looking for Kanako, accidentally met a pregnant girl named Masami Noguchi (played by Mayuko Fukuda), who was only a high school student. The unborn child seems to have some kind of wonderful fate, closely linking the fate of the two mothers, Rongzi and Masami...
