Synopsis of The Long, Hot Summer

The film is adapted from William Faulkner's original work. The story describes a decadent and lifeless wealthy family in a small town in the southern United States. The situation changed completely when a tough young tenant farmer broke into his life. This film is a very literary and artistic film directed by Martin. Rhett was very successful in creating the atmosphere, and the characters of the protagonists were also very in-depth and powerful. Unfortunately, the ending was a bit disappointing.
