Sands of Oblivion

Sands of Oblivion

Synopsis of Sands of Oblivion

The story begins in 1923 in the Guadalupe Desert in California, where legendary director Cecile B. DeMille was filming a silent epic film called "The Ten Commandments." This movie was shot based on DeMille's own ideas, which is completely different from the famous version starring Charlton Heston that DeMille shot again 33 years later (1956). However, the frequent occurrence of bizarre deaths on the set troubled DeMille - and what is even more horrifying is that the cause and manner of death of these people are very similar to those of the legendary ancient Egyptian god of death, Anubis. Eventually, the filming was completed, but no one knew that the ancient Egyptian relics used on the set awakened evil spirits. DeMille ordered people to bury the extra props under the sand... More than 80 years have passed. Mark, a veteran who retired from the Iraq war, assisted his elderly grandfather to the filming location of the movie. Mark's grandfather hoped to unearth the relics he had buried when he was a child. At the same time, Dr. Alice Carter led a group of students to the heart of the desert...
