Synopsis of Duelist

During the Joseon Dynasty in the 16th century, a counterfeit currency case that spread across the country caused a headache for the court. Female detective Nam Soon (played by Ha Ji-won) and her experienced and witty partner Detective Ahn (played by Ahn Sung-ki) worked hard to investigate the case. The two found clues to the counterfeit currency at the market, but unexpectedly the suspects were all killed by a masked man. The swordsman killed people and wiped them out. Nanshun pursued him but was unable to intercept the swordsman. Agent An and Nam Soon obtained the portrait of the masked swordsman from the craftsman who minted the seal required for counterfeit coins, and used this clue to track the suspected swordsman hiding in the minister's house - Sad Eyes (played by Jiang Dongyuan). When Shun approached the swordsman, he was inadvertently moved by his elegant demeanor. After a fight, Nan Shun failed again, but the two of them left each other's mark in their hearts. Nanshun was unyielding and asked for orders to enter the minister's home to search. The love between this pair of enemies continues...
