Synopsis of The New Girlfriend

Claire (Anaïs Demoustier) and Laura (Isild LeBesco) have been good friends since they were 7 years old. The two best friends share all the sweets, sorrows and pains of growing up. However, Laura died of illness after giving birth to her daughter Lucy, leaving her grieving husband David (Romain Duris) to raise her daughter alone. As a godmother, Claire is determined to keep her promise to Laura and take good care of David and Lucy. However, she is trapped in the shadow of her friend's death and cannot recover.
