Synopsis of Man on the Tracks

A train was speeding through the night. The train driver spotted the figure on the track and braked urgently, but it was too late... The deceased Kazimierz Opalinski was also a train driver. Since the signal light at the scene of the incident was damaged, it seemed that the intention was to cause the train to derail. Ozehovsky was naturally suspected. Since there was no evidence of his death, the investigation team invited three insiders: stationmaster Tazuka, train driver Sabala, Salata, a road maintenance worker, tells the story of Ozehovsky's life and events. Ozehovsky has a tough personality and is almost paranoid about his work. He has a grudge against Tazouka because of his unhappy past, and he is merciless towards Sabala, a close confidant sent to him by Tazouka. The conflict between the two men intensified as Ozehovsky publicly opposed Tazouka's decision to use inferior coal to save costs. On the night of the incident, Ozehovsky came to the scene alone...
