Synopsis of The Greatest
The accidental death of their beloved son Bennett (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) makes parents Ellen (Pierce Brosnan) and Grace (Susan Sarandon) devastated. The relationship between the two also dropped to a freezing point. After months of despair, the appearance of a girl named Rose (Carey Mulligan) breaks the oppressive calm. Rose claimed to be Bennett's girlfriend and was pregnant with his child. In a state of dubious belief, Ellen and Grace accepted a girl who appeared almost out of thin air. At first, misunderstandings and quarrels were inevitable, and suspicions about Ross's true identity never stopped. However, as Ross's belly gradually grew, a long-lost family affection and warmth reappeared in this divided family.
